Our company, which was founded in 1987 by Mehmet Saim ALTUNBAŞ, took its first step into the sector with hunting dealership. With the modern factory established in Şabanözü/Çankırı in 2008, the production process was started.
It is an international company that has obtained the first rifled cartridge production permit in Turkey in the defense industry, primarily for the hunting and shooting sectors, and that produces and sells small arms ammunition. In addition to the production of cartridges for hunting and sports purposes, it continues to produce ammunition for military and defense purposes in its facilities consisting of 18,000 square meters of closed area on 440 acres.
TURAC which has always contributed to the development of the hunting and shooting sector in Türkiye with the sponsorship services it has performed; With the brands Sterling, Kaiser and V Sport, we are present in our country as well as in 5 continents It participates in the world's most important hunting, shooting and defense industry fairs held in more than 20 countries such as America, Germany, Russia, France, England, Brazil, Indonesia, Kuwait and Japan.
Having started its production life with 15 different product types, it continues today with more than 350 varieties of products.

Our company, operating in the field of Small Arms Ammunition for military purposes as well as cartridges for hunting and sporting purposes, undertakes the following within the scope of its Occupational Health and Safety Policy:
✓ Provide services in compliance with legal obligations, applicable occupational health and safety legislation and the requirements of relevant parties,
✓ Identify and eliminate hazards, risks and near-miss incidents in the workplace,
✓ Take proactive measures by making the necessary planning for possible emergency situations, identify and eliminate hazards, risks and near-miss incidents in the workplace,
✓ Take all necessary measures to control hazards in activities through a risk management approach,
✓ Ensure a safe and healthy working environment for employees, suppliers, and visitors,
✓ Increase the awareness and consciousness of employees through health and safety training,
✓ Provide occupational health and safety trainings to all employees during recruitment and at regular intervals throughout their employement and keep records of such training,
✓ Continuously improve the Occupational Health and Safety Management System with the participation and feedback of employees at all levels.

✓ Provide services in compliance with legal obligations, requirements of the current environmental legislation, and in accordance with the requirements of relevant parties, within the framework of an environmtental management approach,
✓ Take all necessary precautions to control hazards through a risk management approach in all activities,
✓ Reduce and/or eliminate the environmental impacts arising from our operations,
✓ Integrate the Environmental Management System into our business processes and strategy, identify our environmental risks and opportunities, and take measures to minimize environmental risks,
✓ Aim at increasing the use of renewable energy sources and enhancing energy efficiency practices,
✓ Take measures to ensure the efficient use of energy and natural resources,
✓ Protect the ecological balance by carrying out activitie without causing harm to it,
