TURAC at IDEF 2017

TURAÇ received great attention at IDEF’17, the 13th International Defense Industry Fair, which was held in Istanbul between 09-12.05.2017 and attended by 817 participants from 49 countries. This year, in addition to our Sterling 9x19mm pistol cartridges, we will also exhibit our 5.56x45mm and 7.62mm series rifled rifle cartridges, which we will start mass production at, at our magnificent stand that we exhibited, etailed information was provided to the representativesdspecially our Land Forces Commander, Gen. Salih Zeki COLAK, Gendarmerie Logistics Commander Major General Ali OZKARA, Land Forces Command Logistics Head Brigadier General Sırrı YILMAZ, Military Advisor to the Minister of National Defense, Mr. Em. Brigadier General Yücel KARAUZ, Head of Weapon Systems Department Erkmen OZCELİK, Head of MSB Technical Services Department, Colonel Mustafa USTUN, Vice President of MUSIAD Ankara Bahattin MERAL, Chairman of POONGSAN Corporation Woo Dong Park detailed information was provided to esteemed members of our Turkish Armed Forces, representatives of the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Interior, representatives of the Undersecretariat of Defense Industries, and to our domestic and foreign visitors, including the delegation members of our esteemed guests and all these valuable guests. Particularly, the interest shown in 7.62x39mm cartridges, which will be produced by our company for the first time in Turkey, was exciting.
